## 2.2) Install HeidiSQL and MariaDB on Windows
Go to the official MariaDB website and download the latest Windows version from the MariaDB Downloads page.

```
Run the downloaded installer. During installation, you can choose to install MariaDB as a service, which will start automatically on boot.
During installation, you will be prompted to:
Set the root password.
Select the installation options (e.g., port number, service details).

Unless the installation is complete, MariaDB should be running as a service.
