2.2) Install HeidiSQL and MariaDB on Windows

Go to the official MariaDB website and download the latest Windows version from the MariaDB Downloads page.

Run the downloaded installer. During installation, you can choose to install MariaDB as a service, which will start automatically on boot.

During installation, you will be prompted to:

Set the root password. Select the installation options (e.g., port number, service details).

Unless the installation is complete, MariaDB should be running as a service.
